Custom Fields

Your Pruvan account supports up to five custom fields to add additional information to your Projects. You can customize the label for these fields, whether users enter free form text or choose from a selection, and set a visibility level to determine which user role(s) can see and use the Custom Field.

Setting Up Your Custom Fields

  1. Log in to your Pruvan Online account
  2. On the main menu, choose Custom Fields (listed under Customization)
  3. Click the Switch to turn on the Custom Field(s) you want to enable
    • The switch will turn Green and be set to the right when On
  4. Enter a Display Name
    • This will be the label on your Custom Field in the project editor and on the column in your Project Manager
  5. (Optional) Choose Possible Values
    • If you enter values in this field, they will be listed as a Drop-Down selection when creating or editing projects. Leaving Possible Values blank will allow users to enter their own text for the field
  6. Choose the Visibility Level for the Custom Field
    • Users with a role below the Visibility Level will not be able to see or edit the Custom Fields
  7. Click Save to apply your changes
