All about XactPRM Lite

Introducing XactPRM Lite

XactPRM Lite is a new FREE feature that brings some basic XactPRM functionality directly into PPW. Using XactPRM Lite, you can quickly generate a ballpark estimate directly from the Bid/Completion page using XactPRM's Quick Estimates. If you would like to expand the quick bid, you can generate a full [paid] XactPRM estimate right from the XactPRM Lite page.

Enabling XactPRM Lite

XactPRM Lite is disabled by default. To enable it, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Admin > Groups and select a group
2. On the Group settings page, navigate to View Work Order > Bid/Completion Info and check the box next to Enable XactPRM Lite, then click Save
3. Repeat as necessary for additional Groups.

Accessing XactPRM Lite

XactPRM Lite is available from the Bid/Completion tab. To access:

1. Open a work order and navigate to the Bid/Completion page
2. Click XactPRM Lite
   

3. In the side panel that opens, search for and select the job to be done.

   

4. Adjust the quantity and adjust the job settings to customize the estimate for your specific application, then click ADD JOB.

   

5. A card displaying the job with ranged pricing including the price breakdown between labor, material, equipment, and trip charges will be added. To add additional jobs to your estimate, click Add another job. If the XactPRM Lite estimate is sufficient for your needs, take down the details you need. Once you close the side panel, the estimate will be gone. If you would like to see the line item detail and have the ability to make more fine-grained adjustments to individual line item quantities, click the Create XactPRM Project button to create a full [paid] estimate.

   

6. Upon clicking Create XactPRM Project, one of three actions will take place:
   1. If you already have an XactPRM account and your PRM credentials are saved in PPW, the full XactPRM project will be created, similar to if you had clicked the XactPRM Connect button on the Bid/Completion page.
   2. If you already have an XactPRM account and your PRM credentials are not saved in PPW, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. The full XactPRM project will then be created.
   3. If you do not have an XactPRM account, you will be directed to our online store to first purchase an estimate package before you can generate the full XactPRM project.
