Overview
You can customize your user Roles on your account to allow for more or less access than the default settings. Log in to Pruvan Online and click the Icon, then choose Roles.
On this page you will see a list of privileges that determine user access levels. Hover over the icon next to the privilege name to see a description. then click the Check Box below each Role that you want to have this access. When you are finished click Save Roles to save your changes and apply to all of your users.
Note: You cannot remove Master or Edit Roles access from your Admin role
Dependent Privileges
Certain privileges require access to other privileges to fully work. If your Roles do not have access to all related privileges, Users may encounter errors when attempting to make changes.
For example, since Invoices are part of a work order, a user role must be able to Edit Work Orders as well as having the Invoicing privilege. In addition they will need to be able to view the Customers respectively on your account to see this information on the Invoice.
Some related Privileges include:
- View Customers is required to Edit Customers
- View Resources is required to Edit Resources
- View All Alerts is required to Delete Alerts
- Edit Work Orders and View Resources are required to Edit Bills
- Edit Work Orders and View Customers are required for Invoicing
- Edit Lines is required to Edit All Lines
- Edit Lines is required to Create Bids
