The bid comp/invoice items advanced allows you to create items and designate pricing for those items, to appear on work orders based on filtered criteria that you designate.
1.) Add Item allows you to create a new Bid/Comp item
2.) Reorder Alphabetically will order the page alphabetically
3.) Show inactive will display only inactive items
4.) Activate old pricing data would deactivate this pricing matrix. DO NOT USE. Consult PPW if you have any questions
5.) Copy old rules is related to old pricing data. DO NOT USE. Consult PPW if you have any questions
6.) Export all pricing filters will create an excel file of each item and the corresponding filters each item has
7.) The order in which the items displays on the bid comp page both here and on a work order
8.) The display name of the item
9.) If the item has a billing code it will be displayed here
10.) UOM stands for Unit of Measure, displays here
11.) Lot size range indicates if the item has lot sizes designated
12.) Always show on bid comp is displays if the item will display on the bid comp page of a work order, or if not, it is selected in the drop down when add item is selected on the bid comp page of a work order
13.) Always show on new client work order
14.) Disable Default indicates if the default pricing shows for the item on the bid comp page of a work order. It is also a button you can press to quickly change from active to inactive.
15.) Auto Invoice Client displays if the item is being forced the bid/comp item to show on new client work orders.
16.) Active indicates if the item is active or not and it is also a button you can press to quickly make an item active or inactive
17.) Edit line item will open up an option to edit features about the item
18.) Edit line item filter will open up an option to edit filters about that item to designate how it will display on work orders.
19.) The search box allows you to search for an item
20.) Entered by displays who entered or edited the item and when those actions happened
When you click on add item, it will populate an option to create a bid comp/invoice item. The fields with a red asterisk are required to create an item.
1.) Item name is the work being performed
2.) Billing code, if you do not have one, simply put 0.
3.) UOM has to be created in a different place, but you can create and designate 0.
4.) Default contractor unit price will be the price that populates for that item if no other filters are set. If you do not have one, simply put 0.
5.) Default client unit price is the price that populates for that item if no other filters are set. If you do not have one, simply put 0.
6.) If the item has a minimum lot size, you can designate that here
7.) If the item has a maximum lot size, you can designate that here
8.) Always show on bid comp will display that item on the bid comp page, based on any filters designated. If not selected, the item will populate in a drop down menu when add item is selected on the bid comp page of a work order. That also abides by any filters designated.
9.) Always show on new client forces the bid/comp item to show on new client work orders.
10.) When you have all the information that is required and you want entered, click save.
When you click on Edit Line Item, it populates information allowing you to determine specific criteria about that item.
1.) Invoice item name allows you to edit the name of the item
2.) If you have a billing code it can be entered or edited here
3.) The unit of measure can be edited
4.) The Default contractor price populates if no other pricing filters have been designated
5.) The Default client price populates if no other pricing filters have been designated
6.) Disable default will not show the default price
7.) Flat fee will allow the item to populate on the invoice with no percentages subtracted
8.) Disable Contractor Price Edit determines if contractors can edit their price
9.) Always show on bid/comp determines if the item displays on a work order or if it shows up in the drop down menu when add item is selected
10.) Always show on new client WO Forces the bid/comp item to show on new client work orders.
11.) Required on new client WO Requires the bid/comp item on new client work orders.
12.) If set to active yes the item will display on or in the drop down menu of the bid comp page on a work order. If set to no, it will not display.
13.) If this is set to yes and this item is selected as a completion item it will auto invoice the client. This will show on the invoice section of the work order.
14.) If the item has a minimum lot size, you can designate that here
15.) If the item has a maximum lot size, you can designate that here
16.) If the item has preset text, it displays here.
17.) To add preset text you can add it here
18.) Once all criteria has been set, click save.
19.) Back will take you back to the bid comp item page
When you click edit pricing filters, it populates criteria that you can designate to have items display on the bid completion page of a work order.
1.) Once all filters have been added and designated, you will want to click save filters
2.) Add filter will add additional filter lines
3.) Export Filters downloads all the filters to an excel file
4.) Show history shows the history of the filters of that item
5.) Go back will take you back to the line items page
6.) Filters help will take you to a support page explaining the items.
7.) Change order populates the items in the order you designate
8.) Client company is the company or companies you want the price to populate for
9.) State is the state or states you want the price to populate for
10.) County is the county or counties that you want the price to populate for
11.) Zip is the zip code or codes you want the price to populate for
12.) Contractor is the contractor or contractors you want the price to populate for
13.) Customer is the customer or customers you want the price to populate for
14.) Loan Type is the loan type or loan types you want the price to populate for
15.) Contractor unit price is the price that populates for the contractor
16.) Client unit price is the price that populates for the client
17.) MU stands for mark up and allows the item to be marked up
18.) PT stands for pass through and allows the item to pass through invoicing
19.) Flat Fee will insure the item does not get a percentage taken off of it
20.) Disable Contractor Edit prevents the contractor from editing the designated price
21.) The trashcan icon will delete that filter line
