Overview
The PPW Dashboard helps you monitor your workload in real-time with a customizable page of Widgets. Whether you’re keeping an eye on overdue orders, tracking recent activity, or watching performance by contractor, your Dashboard puts the data you care about front and center.
You can create multiple Dashboards and add different types of Widgets to tailor each one to your workflow.
Getting Started with Dashboards
- Log in to your PPW account
- From the main navigation, click Dashboard
- Click Create to make a new Dashboard
- Enter a Name for your Dashboard
- Click Save
This creates a blank Dashboard, ready for Widgets!
Adding Widgets to Your Dashboard
- Open the Dashboard you want to customize
- Click Create and select Widget
- Choose the Widget type:
- Work Order Totals – shows counts or tables based on filters like status, due date, and contractor
- Focused Work Orders – displays recent work orders based on your user access (e.g. Recently Created, Recently Viewed)
- Configure the Widget:
- Choose your Display Format (Table or List, if applicable)
- Select Filters (Status, Contractor, Date Range, etc.)
- Click Save to add it to your Dashboard
📌 Note: Widget options may vary depending on your access level (Admin, Field, etc.).
Rearranging and Editing Widgets
- You can drag and drop Widgets to arrange them however you like on the Dashboard.
- To edit a Widget, click the gear icon on the Widget you want to modify.
- Change the title, filters, or display format as needed, then click Save.
Data Refresh & Performance
Dashboards use pre-cached data so your information loads fast.
In the top right corner, you’ll see the Data Last Refreshed timestamp — so you always know how current the info is.
Set a Dashboard as Your Home Page
To make a Dashboard your landing page when logging in:
- Open the Dashboard you want to set
- In the upper right corner, click the gear icon
- Enable the button “Set as home page.” This will make the Dashboard page your default page when you log in.
