REAMSview Excel Import instructions (HUD Orders from: Spectrum Solutions Acquisitions, JGM Group and 24 Asset Management)

Exporting the orders to Excel

First, we need to export the orders from ReamsView, to do this: 

1. Log in to your Spectrum ReamsView account, HERE Is a link to the login page
2. Once logged in, click the "Export to CSV option" that shows on the right-hand side just above the work orders 
   
3. Now, open the file you download in Excel 
4. Here, we need to make on slight change
   1. Make sure you are on the "Home" tab
   2. Select the date due column by clicking on the corresponding column header and ensure the whole column is selected
      1. In our case, this is Column G
   3. Locate the In the "Number" section of the tool bar
   4. Click on the drop-down menu and choose the "Short Date" option
      1. The reason for this is that Spectrum provides the time the order is due, but PPW only needs the date, so formatting it this way will remove the time, and allow us to import the orders as outlined below. 
         
5. Now, save this file to your computer and note where this was saved to

Importing the orders into PPW

Once we have this spreadsheet, here is how to import these orders into PPW:

1. Hover over the new work order tab and select import work orders
2. Select the option Excel, CSV, TAB
3. Press the Browse button to select the Excel file. 
   1. If the Spreadsheet has column headings indicating what data each column contains, you will want to check the "Skip FIrst Line (Column Headings)" option.
      
      
       
4. Select the client company
5. Map the fields to the correct column 
   1. To do this, click on the drop-down menu at the top of the column, and select the data that is in that column, if you do not need the information in this column in PPW, or PPW does not have an equivalent of that column, leave the drop-down menu blank, and that column will be skipped.
6. Press the import button to import the orders. ​
