The EPS Integration is the link between your Field Comm / In Field Express account and your Pruvan account. Orders are pulled in to Pruvan from IFE. You must have Field Comm and an IFE subscription to use the EPS Integration. Your orders will be sent from Field Comm to IFE to Pruvan, and photos will relay back from Pruvan to IFE to Field Comm.
EPS' integration supports importing work orders, photo relay, auto-submit, default Work Type, adding additional tasks, and the push key.
Orders are imported whenever you press the Refresh or Full Import buttons on your EPS integration.
See this article for how to get set up:
You can set up IFE so that your EPS projects automatically assign to the correct Pruvan User on import. See this article for information on getting set up:
You can set your EPS integration up to auto-import orders from IFE to Pruvan. This is linked up to the same system that IFE uses to send out email alerts for new projects. To set up Auto Import follow the steps in this article:
Default Work Type
Default Work Type is a Work Type that will be applied to all of your incoming EPS projects.
- See this article on Default Work Type
Both Photo and Survey tasks can be added to EPS orders. These tasks will show up on every project that imports, in addition to the tasks that normally import.
Pruvan Push Key
The Push Key can be used to refresh your EPS integration directly from a web browser bookmark.
Your photos will relay to Field Comm based on your QA settings in Pruvan and IFE. Once the photos are published they will show up in IFE. The following set of articles go over the different QA options you have available.
You have the option to automatically submit orders from IFE to Field Comm directly from Pruvan. By using the Photo Relay setup to Upload Photos Immediately in IFE, and setting this option, your users should not have to log in to IFE at all.
IFE Option: Integration Work Order Completion
This option is under System Options and External Integration in your IFE Admin account. There are 3 options:
- Disabled - No auto-submit. Users will have to log in to IFE to submit their work orders.
- On Pruvan Survey Submission - The work order will be submitted from IFE to Field Comm as soon as a survey is relayed from Pruvan to IFE. This option is NOT recommended.
- On Pruvan Order Completion - The work order will be submitted from IFE to Field Comm once the order is marked complete in Pruvan.
