Why Won't My Ad Hoc Photos Upload from my Apple Device?

Note: This article only applies to iPhone users that recently upgraded from version 3.15 to 3.16.

Pruvan Mobile's project creation was recently updated and as a result you may experience trouble uploading Ad Hoc projects created on an older version of Pruvan Mobile on iOS devices. If you have taken photos on an Ad Hoc project and they will not upload you can either update the Ad Hoc project if you wish to continue taking photos on that project, or force the uploads if you do not need to continue this project.

This issue has been resolved in an update that you can access by installing the Test Flight version of Pruvan Mobile.

Update the Ad Hoc Project

If you need to continue taking photos on this project then you can update it to be compatible with the current version of Pruvan Mobile to upload your photos.

  1. Log In to Pruvan Mobile
  2. Tap Choose Projects
  3. Select the Ad-Hoc project with photos not uploading.
  4. If the project was created on an older version of Pruvan Mobile, you will see "Ad hoc (In Process)" listed above the address.
  5. Tap the pencil-shaped Edit button
  6. In the Edit menu, tap Save

You do not need to make any changes to the project, opening the Edit menu and saving the project will allow your uploads to proceed as expected.

Force Uploads

If you are finishing this project and have taken all the photos you need, you can simply Force the uploads to proceed.

  1. Log in to Pruvan Mobile
  2. Tap the blue ">" to open the Upload Log
  3. Tap Force All
