Pruvan has both Pruvan Project "Status" and Mobile "Field Status" to convey the current known state of a Project.
Pruvan Project "Status": (set by office workflow or by an Integration)
- Shown on the Pruvan Online Projects page in the column labeled "Status". See below for explanations of each Status.
- Projects in Pruvan Mobile are sorted by Status, with the ability to collapse or expand all work orders under a given status.
"Field Status" (set from mobile device):
- Shown on the Pruvan Online Projects page in the column labeled "Field Status". See below for explanations of each Field Status.
- Visible in Pruvan Mobile projects list under each work order number
Why is Pruvan Mobile and Pruvan Online out of synch?
Since Pruvan Mobile works offline, the Status and Field Status will not change in Pruvan Online until the "Upload Marker" shown in Pruvan Mobile's "upload log" is marked Upload Complete by Pruvan Mobile. This means the background upload process on Pruvan Mobile has successfully sent the signal from Pruvan Mobile to Pruvan Online (depending on reliable WiFi or Cellular networks), before Pruvan Online will show changes (in bold) to office staff using Pruvan Online.
Read more about the upload log on Pruvan Mobile here.
Pruvan Status change will not be reflected on Pruvan Mobile until the Pruvan Mobile app is refreshed with a new work order list from Pruvan Online.
What causes Pruvan Status to change?
Depending on the workflow (based on i: Office manually changing Status, and/or ii: Work Order source integration changing Status, and/or iii: how the the Mark Complete Mode and Auto-Relay is set to change Status), the Pruvan Project Status will change on the Pruvan Online website.
Pruvan Status change will not be reflected on Pruvan Mobile until the Pruvan Mobile app is refreshed with a new work order list from Pruvan Online (typically every 24 hours unless done manually).
