Pruvan Integration Types

There are two types of integrations in Pruvan – Internal and External (formerly Mode 1 and Mode 2 respectively).

Internal Integrations

An Internal (formerly Mode 1) integration is an integration that is designed to extend an organization’s current work order management system with Pruvan Mobile.  Internal integrations are typically only setup on that organization's Pruvan account and all of their vendors are sub-users to that Pruvan account.  Internal integrations can directly set assigned to, status, due date, instructions and description.

External Integrations

An External (formerly Mode 2) integration is an integration that is designed to provide vendors the ability to use Pruvan as a Mobile option for managing and completing work.  External Integration are typically setup on many different Pruvan accounts as the organization does not have their own Pruvan account.  External integrations cannot directly set assigned to, status, due date, instructions and description to allow users to manage the orders themselves.  The Auto Admin option will allow the external integration to set these fields when enabled; more about Auto Admin here.
