What is an integration?

An integration is a way for 2 different systems, such as Pruvan and MCS, to exchange information.

What are the features of the MCS integration?

The enhanced integration can import orders, check in, relay photos back to MCS, and auto-flag some photos in MCS.

I'm a contractor on my client's MCS account, can I still use the integration?

No, unfortunately you need to have Admin access in MCS in order to set up the integration.

What information from my MCS work order is visible in the Pruvan project?

Below is a list of how data is mapped from MCS to Pruvan:

Does Pruvan honor my work order assignment in MCS?

No, all MCS work orders will come in to Pruvan unassigned.  There is not currently a way for you to link your Pruvan sub users in Vendor360.

Why can't I turn on the photo timestamp option?

MCS does not allow timestamp overlays on photos sent to them, therefor timestamps for all MCS orders have been disabled.  The timestamp will still be written to the photos EXIF data where MCS will have access to it.

Can I attach surveys to my MCS work orders?

Yes!  Check out this article on Surveys for MCS Projects.

Will my surveys go to MCS or fill out my forms in Vendor360?

No, you will see the survey results in Pruvan Online and in your Downloader for you to use.  No form data is sent to MCS.

Can I change the task's that are on the MCS projects?

No, once a work order is imported in to Pruvan the tasks can not be changed.

Can I add extra photo task's to my MCS projects?

No, this is not a feature of the MCS integration.

Can I submit my MCS work orders from Pruvan?

No, you must complete the work order in Vendor360.

What does 'Send Photos to MCS' do?

This setting allows you to control whether or not data is sent back to MCS.  If you set this to 'no' then you will only be able to import work orders from MCS.  Photos will not be relayed back to MCS; even if you publish them.

Can I QA my Photos in Pruvan Online before sending them to MCS?

Yes!  Set you 'Send Photos to MCS' setting to 'yes'.  Then check out this article on Online QA.

Can I QA my Photos in Pruvan Mobile before sending them to MCS?

Yes!  Set your 'Send Photos to MCS' setting to 'yes'.  Then check out this article on Mobile QA.

Can I just have everything go to MCS without holding it up in Pruvan?

Yes, just set your profile options to allow for auto-relay.  Check out this article for more information on Profile Options.

Why are my photos not being flagged correctly in MCS?

Only photos taken under the Occupancy Photos, Utilities, Interior Photos, or Exterior Photos Tasks will be auto-flagged in MCS.  Additionally, these photos will be placed in the first available container for that section.  All other photos will be put in the Image Gallery section.

Why are my photos in Vendor360 out of order?

Unfortunately we do not control the order in which Vendor360 displays photos.

Can I Check In in Pruvan for MCS?

Yes!  We can complete Check Ins that meet MCS's requirements.  See this article for enabling MCS Check In.
