Pruvan Cloud Storage allows you to store all of your Pruvan Photos for free (with a paid subscription) and access them at any time.
There are 2 ways to access your cloud storage, by using the Pruvan Downloader or by going to the Photos page in Pruvan Online. The Photos page is where you can view everything that has been uploaded to Pruvan's cloud storage on your projects. Here you can drill in to a project to QA your photos, publish them to the Pruvan Downloader or an integration, or simply download a zip file of them.
Below you'll see how the Photos page is laid out, how to use the search and filter features to find what you're looking for, and how to use the tools here to manage and QA your photos. Crew user? Check the last section on what you'll see on this page.
Photos Page Layout
- Date Range Filter - This lets you set what date range you want to look at. Only Projects with activity within the date range will be displayed.
- Search - This lets you filter the projects based on a search term you enter
- Project: The Project ID that the photos were taken on. Click on the Project ID link to go to the Project Details page.
- Client - Projects that are imported through an integration will display an Integration code here. This will let you know which integration the project imported from.
- Address - This is the property address of the Project that the photos were taken on. Clicking on the Address will load the Property History Report.

- Unpublished Pics: This number will let you know if you have any photos that have not been published to the Pruvan Downloader or to an Integration.
- Publish All - This button will publish all of the unpublished items to the Pruvan Downloader and the integration (if applicable). This will not re-publish failed items.
- Total Pics - This is the total number of items that have been uploaded on the Project.
- Download Zip - This allows users to download a zip file of the all of the items on the Project. These zip files are limited to the most recent 5000 items, more information on this is available here.
Filters
There are two methods for filtering what projects are displayed on the Photos page; the Date Filter and the Search box.
Date Filter
The Date Filter limits your results to the projects that have activity during the selected range. Only 60 days at a time can be displayed at once. You can go back in time for as long as you have photos in the system however. Currently photos are retained in Pruvan for 7 years.
- Select a From date
- If the To date ends up being more than 60 days out it will automatically adjust to 60 days from the From date
- For this reason you should always set the From date first
- Select a To date
- Click Search
If you reload the page or click the Reset button the date range will fall back to the default setting which is the last 10 days from today. You can click the Lock button to lock in your date range so that you can leave the Photos page and come back to the same range.
Search
You can enter a term in to the Search box to filter out any Projects that do not match. When entering multiple terms separate them using the space key. Results will be displayed that match ALL of the terms entered. To match an exact phrase use double quotes; ie "Round Rock" will only only match 'Round Rock' and not 'Round Ave, Rock City'. The following fields can be searched:
- Project
- Client
- Address
- Latest Active
- Created
Managing your Photos
Pruvan Online provides you a suite of tools in the Photos section to help you manage your photos. They are:
- Project Details - Click on any Project Number link to view the details page and review all of the photos, surveys, and check ins for that project. This is where you'll be able to manually upload photos to a project, move photos to another project, re-publish photos, or QA your photos online.
- Property History Report - Click on any Address link to view the history report for that address. It will show you all of the projects for that address in one convenient place.
How to QA photos with Pruvan
These 3 articles go over how to set up your account so that you are able to QA the photos at the proper point in your work flow.
- How to QA Photos in Pruvan Online - Choose this so that you can QA your photos from the Project Details page and publish them afterwards. This is good for teams that have someone in a back office working on a computer.
- How to QA Photos in Pruvan Mobile - Choose this so that you can QA and publish your photos from Pruvan Mobile before they reach Pruvan Online. This is the right choice for the team on the go or the one-man-shop that's managing from the field.
- How to Skip QA in Pruvan - Choose this if you use an external system to manage your photos. This is good for teams that use another project management solution or for teams whose clients perform QA.
