Your Work Provider's Code of Conduct

Subcontractor Acknowledgement of the Code of Conduct for Services Provided

Through my acknowledgment by my acceptance, I and each of my employees or co-workers have accepted and completed the Work Order or Inspection (referred to as “Service or Services”) at the property (referred to as the “Subject Property”), and any such Services were completed in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the applicable Service through a contractor and subcontractor relationship.  In accepting and completing the Service, I have acknowledged and agree to the following:

  1. I and each of my employees or co-workers will have completed the required background check and received the appropriate compliance level prior to starting any Work Order or performing any Inspection on the Subject Property.
  2. I and each of my employees or co-workers will acquire and provide our Unique Subcontractor Identification Number(s) that were assigned exclusively to each of us for any Inspection or Work Order completed that was performed by me or my employees or co-workers, and will not use or provide the Unique Subcontractor Identification Number of another person on any completed Work Order or Inspection report.
  3. I and each of my employees or co-workers will carry a valid government issued driver’s license, identification card, passport, visa, work permit or similar document, including an Employer issued form of identification; and will present our identification documents and/or Service documents that may be requested by any law enforcement officer or government official, neighbor or any occupant of the Subject Property associated with the Services performed by me or my employees or co-workers.
  4. I and each of my employees or co-workers will follow all applicable standards and requirements for the assigned Service and each of the Services performed by me and my co-workers will be in accordance with applicable local building and housing codes, regulations or the rules and applicable requirements of the homeowners’ association or cooperative.
  5. I and each of my employees or co-workers will maintain any applicable or required state and local business licenses and permits to perform the assigned Services at the Subject Property.
  6. I and each of my employees or co-workers will be appropriately bonded and carry the required insurance to perform the Services.
  7. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not engage in any activity that constitutes gross misbehavior, willful misconduct, or any conduct that otherwise involves dishonesty, breach of trust, theft, vandalism, burglary or violent behavior at the Subject Property.
  8. I and each of my employees or co-workers will wear appropriate company uniform or clothing, and if no uniform is provided, then I and each of my employees or co-workers will wear an appropriate shirt, pants, shoes and any required protective clothing or safety equipment while performing the assigned Service.  I and each of my employees or co-workers also agree not wear clothing with any vulgar or offensive designs, photographs or language or use any vulgar or offensive language while performing the Service at the subject Property.
  9. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not be intoxicated or under the influence of an illegal substance while performing assigned the Service at the subject Property.
  10. I and each of my employees or co-workers will perform and complete all assigned Services in a professional manner using appropriate materials that are new and suitable for the Services performed or clearly label and identify materials that are not new, including any equipment that was rented or leased and used to perform the Service, and use the appropriate equipment, tools and techniques to perform and complete the Service.
  11. I and each of my employees or co-workers will ensure that all required photographs or videos needed or required to document the completion of the assigned Service will have been taken on the date and at the time that the Service was performed, and I and each of my employees or co-workers agree not omit, alter or otherwise misrepresent through any photographs or videos the condition of the Subject Property or completion of the Service.
  12. I and each of my employees or co-workers will provide an Immediate Notification to my Employer and the Client if there was any unscheduled or unintended contact with the mortgagor, homeowner, tenant, occupant or other contact with any third party, such as a neighbor, government official or law enforcement officer, while performing the assigned Service at the Subject Property. 
  13. I and each of my employees or co-workers will limit our conversation or discussion to our role, responsibilities,  requirements of the Service with the mortgagor, homeowner, tenant, occupant or any other contact with a third party, such as a neighbor, government official or law enforcement officer, while performing the assigned Service at the Subject Property.
  14. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not disclose, share or provide to any unauthorized third party any information, such as photographs or videos of the Subject Property, or any information contained in the Work Order or Inspection report, or any information obtained from conducting the Services or the type of Services performed or completed, including any information regarding the Subject Property address, occupancy status or condition.
  15. I and each of my employees or co-workers will consider and handle all Work Order and Inspection information as private and confidential non-public information, and not share any such information with any other persons or entities without obtaining written permission from the Client and my Employer.
  16. I and each of my employees or co-workers will promptly comply with any directions, orders or instructions given by any federal, state or local law enforcement officers or government officials while performing the assigned Service and will provide an Immediate Notification to my Employer and the Client of any such directions, orders and instructions given, including the requirement for Immediate Notification of the Client regarding any unintended or unscheduled contact with any federal, state or local law enforcement officer or government officials. 
  17. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not solicit or participate in television, radio, print, advertising or media interviews or respond to any inquiries related to the Service performed at the Subject Property by me or my Employer, and will not post to the Internet or the World Wide Web any information, photographs, videos, comments, postings or statements relating to the Service at the subject Property, and will provide an Immediate Notification to the Employer and Client of any request for any interviews, written statements from a third party (e.g., depositions, affidavits or attestations), or any activities that may include a third party taking video or photographs while performing any Work Order and the Service for the Client or the Subject Property.
  18. I and each of my employees or co-workers will provide an Immediate Notification to my Employer and the Client, when there has been any contact with any occupant of the Subject Property or a neighbor that was verbally or physically threatening, any confrontational or offensive statements by the occupant of the Property or the neighbor, or any similar interaction or contact with a government official or law enforcement officer.
  19. I and each of my employees or co-workers will provide an Immediate Notification to my Employer and the Client when where there is any posted code violation or official governmental notice placed at the Subject Property.  
  20. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not remove any required notices and signage on the Subject Property and any posting or signage on the Subject Property that are required by any applicable local building codes, regulations, ordinances, statues or as may be required by the homeowners’ association or cooperative, or remove any material in the mail box, shipments, packages and/or similar items delivered to the Property, and will provide an Immediate Notification to my Employer and the Client where there are any posting on or at the Property that includes any derogatory reference or statements, threats, claims or allegations to my Employer and the Client that has been placed at the Subject Property by any person, occupant, homeowner, tenant or other entity. 
  21. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not donate, sell, barter, exchanged or otherwise use any personal property or items that were removed from the Subject Property and nothing will be remove from the Subject Property for any personal use or the personal use by another person.
  22. I and each of my employees or co-workers will not subsequently donate, sell, barter, exchanged or otherwise remove materials, equipment installed, furnishings or improvements made to the Subject Property under any Work Order or remove such items from the Subject Property for any personal use or the personal use by another person.
  23. I and each of my employees or co-workers will remove trash or debris, including any hazardous waste or materials, from the Subject Property, and we will document the disposition of any hazardous waste or materials as required by the Employer or the Client.
  24. I and each of my employees or co-workers will perform the Service in accordance with the local, state or federal statutes or regulations or in accordance with the requirements of the Work Order for the Services performed by me, each of my employees and co-workers.
  25. I and each of my employees or co-workers will perform the Service and retain the right to control or direct only the result of the Services and not what will generally be done and how the Service will generally be done, and that the results of the Service will be conducted and performed in a professional manner as acknowledged by me or my employees or co-workers.

 

This agreement is between you and your work provider.   Pruvan is not a party to this agreement.
