Did Pruvan build the myFAStrack Desktop app and FAStrack Mobile?

Yes. 

In 2010 Pruvan implemented the myFAStrack Desktop app, the FAStrack Mobile app and related Pruvan/FAS service.  These apps and the related Pruvan/FAS online service are controlled by Pruvan, require a FAStrack username/password to access, and only communicate to the FAStrack Order System

The FAStrack Order System (fastrack.fieldassets.com) is owned and managed by Assurant Field Services.

 

Did Pruvan build the Pruvan Direct service?

Yes.

In 2012 Pruvan release the Pruvan Direct service that consists of Pruvan Online, Pruvan Mobile, related software and various integrations to multiple work order systems including the FAStrack Order System.

Anyone can sign up for a free Pruvan Online account online at no cost.  A related Pruvan Online account has premium features available that may require a monthly fee/subscription to access related premium features.

 

Can I use both, the Pruvan Direct service and the myFAStrack Desktop app? 

Not recommended.

Can I use Pruvan Mobile with the myFAStrack Desktop app?

No.

 

Can I see my photos in both Pruvan Direct and the myFAStrack Desktop app?

No. 

All photos uploaded to the myFAStrack Desktop app or taken in the FAStrack Mobile app are only visible in the myFAStrack Desktop app, then sent to FAStrack Order System.  These photos are not synchronized with or sent to any Pruvan Online account.  

Similarly, All photos uploaded to your Pruvan Online account or taken using the Pruvan Mobile app are only visible in your Pruvan Online account, then sent to FAStrack Order System.  These photos are not synchronized with or sent to any myFAStrack Desktop app.  

 

Why are there two Pruvan services that communicate with the FAStrack Order System?

Both services are available.  Pruvan Direct was offered to replace myFAStrack Desktop app and FAStrack Mobile in 2015.

Pruvan initially created the Pruvan/FAS service in 2010 dedicated to the FAStrack Order System. The Pruvan/FAS service required the myFAStrack desktop app installed locally on all vendor computers.

In 2012, Pruvan released Pruvan Direct, a web based software solution provided as a service (SaaS) that provides connectivity to multiple order systems including the FAStrack Order System.  Pruvan Direct offers FAS vendors their own online Pruvan account (Pruvan Online) and eliminates the need for the myFAStrack desktop application. Pruvan Mobile eliminates the need for the FAStrack Mobile app.
