Pruvan does not automatically download video taken on Pruvan Mobile to the Pruvan Downloader.

Q) How do I view and save the video(s) I take using Pruvan?

A) The video is available several ways from Pruvan

  • To view: Navigate to the Photo tab and click on the video icon.
  • To save locally:  You can right click and select "save as" to save the MP4 file locally using supported web browsers.  Do not save the video link for long time storage since the link will only be valid for 24 hours.
  • To download all photos and videos on a given Project:  Navigate to the Photo tab on related project and select Download as ZIP (all items, videos and photos will be included in ZIP file for the Project)
  • For Developers who are using the Pruvan API v2.  The videoURI is included in the Pruvan "uploadPictures" payload sent by Pruvan to the related endpoint that provided the related Pruvan Project definition.  The link is available for 24 hours after publish event and will play the video in supported browswers.  To retrieve/view the video developers must save the MP4 file or republish video to reactivate the link.
